synopsis
"A Single Man" marks the film adaptation of the 1964 novel by Christopher Isherwood. The movie tells the story of George Falconer, a British college professor (Colin Firth) who is struggling to find meaning in his life after the death of his long-time partner, Jim (Matthew Goode). The film is the directorial debut of fashion designer Tom Ford and stars Colin Firth and Julianne Moore. It premiered at the 66th Venice International Film Festival.
