Charlyne Yi is a standup comedian and filmmaker who began performing standup in Fontana, California and has since performed shows in many Los Angeles theaters. In 2005 and 2006, she performed in the New York Comedy Festival. In 2007, she was a part of HBO’s U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado. Yi made her film debut in Judd Apatow’s hit comedy, “Knocked Up.” Her most recent project involved producing, co-writing, and starring in the documentary, “Paper Heart.”
