Sam Rockwell is an actor who started his film career with roles in 1999's “Galaxy Quest” and in the 1999 Shakespeare adaptation “A Midsummer Night's Dream.” His next roles were in the movies “Charlie’s Angels” and “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind” which also marked George Clooney’s directorial debut. He followed those performances with performances in Ridley Scott’s “Matchstick Men” opposite Nicolas Cage, “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy,” “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford,” “Snow Angels” with Kate Beckinsale, “Frost Nixon” and “Choke.” In 2009 he starred in “Moon” which was directed by Duncan Jones and also appeared in “Gentlemen Broncos.”
