Katherine Dieckmann is a film and music video director known for her work with R.E.M., Everything but the Girl, and the feature films “Good Baby” and “Diggers,” and Nickelodeon's “The Adventures of Pete & Pete.” “A Good Baby,” a lyrical drama about an abandoned newborn baby and the loner who comes to take care of her, was Dieckmann’s first feature as writer-director. Her latest film, “Motherhood,” starring Uma Thurman, Anthony Edwards, and Minnie Driver premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival. She currently teaches screenwriting at the Columbia University’s Graduate School of the Arts.
