Oren Moverman marked his directorial debut with the film, “The Messenger,” co-written with Alessandro Camon. It stars Ben Foster, Woody Harrelson, and Samantha Morton and premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival. Moverman also co-wrote Todd Hayne’s Bob Dylan biopic “I’m Not There,” starring Cate Blanchett, Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Richard Gere, Michelle Williams, and Julianne Moore. His latest film, “This Side of the Looking Glass,” stars Brendan Fraser and Donald Sutherland.
