Kirk Jones made a name for himself in the 1990s with his award-winning Absolut Vodka TV ads. Not long after, his advertising campaign with Heinz won the 1996 Silver Lion at Cannes. Other clients included Coke, McDonalds, Mercedes, Sony Playstation and BBC TV.
In 1998, he wrote and directed his first feature “Waking Ned Devine.” Jones returned to directing commercials before taking on his next film project, “Nanny McPhee,” written by and starring Emma Thompson. His latest film and the first one he’s shot in America is “Everybody’s Fine” which hosted an ensemble cast that included: Robert DeNiro, Kate Beckinsale, Drew Barrymore and Sam Rockwell.
