Starting her film career as an independent producer, Pam Abdy worked her way up to bigger titles such as "How High," "Garden State," and "Stop-Loss." In late 2008, she left Paramount Pictures to join Scott Stuber Productions as a development and production executive at the Universal Pictures-based Shingle. During her time at Paramount, Abdy oversaw the creation of a number of motion pictures including "World Trade Center," "Babel," "Freedom Writers," and Martin Scorsese’s upcoming "Shutter Island."
