Ross Katz has co-produced two Oscar-nominated motion pictures, "Lost In Translation" and "In the Bedroom." In 1992, Katz got his start in movies working as a grip on Quentin Tarantino’s "Reservoir Dogs." Ten years later came his first big project as a producer which was working on the HBO television miniseries, "The Laramie Project." In 2006, Katz produced "Marie Antoinette," the retelling of France’s iconic but ill-fated queen, which took home the Oscar for Best Achievement in Costume Design. Katz has had several films in competition at the Sundance Film Festival and in 2005 was invited to join the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences. Most recently, he made his directorial debut with "Taking Chance," a true story that follows the journey of a fallen American soldier, which was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
