From that point forward, McKittrick and Kelly worked together to make films through their company Darko Entertainment. Their next film, "Donnie Darko", starring Jake Gyllenhaal, was a quirky sci-fi thriller that was nominated for The Grand Jury Award at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival. McKittrick produced "Southland Tales," nominated for a Golden Palm Award at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival and most recently, produced "World’s Greatest Dad," which debuted at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
