David Gordon Green most recently directed the comedy motion picture, "Pineapple Express," starring Seth Rogan and James Franco in which Franco earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture. Green began his career in film while attending the North Carolina School of the Arts, where he made two short films, "Pleasant Grove" and "Physical Pinball." Shortly after in 2000, he made his feature film debut, both writing and directing the critically-acclaimed "George Washington." He followed that in 2003 with "All the Real Girls" and "Undertow" in 2004. In 2007 he directed "Snow Angels," his first film adapted from a novel. The film debuted at Sundance in January 2007 and starred Sam Rockwell and Kate Beckinsale.
