RJ Cutler is a producer and director of numerous television programs and documentary style films. He has won an Emmy Award, a Peabody Award, and been nominated for an Academy Award, two other Emmys, two GLAAD Awards, an Independent Spirit Award, and a Producers Guild Award. RJ Cutler graduated from Harvard University in 1983 and attended the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. His documentaries include The War Room which showed the 1992 presidential campaign of Bill Clinton and American High which documents the lives of students in Highland Park, Illinois by which Cutler gave video cameras to the students, allowing them to record the footage which he then edited. Most recently, Cutler received the Grand Jury Prize at this year’s Sundance Film Festival for his production and direction of The September Issue, which tells the story of Vogue Editor and Chief, Anna Wintour.
