I think 7 out 8 movies in 3-D scheduled for release is overkill. |

...but there are definitely movies that could be greatly enhanced using the new technology. I don't know if I would be more excited to see a Scorsese film because it was filmed in 3D, but a Michael Bay film would be amazing in 3D. |

7 out of 8 films coming out in 3D is a huge number! For this generation, 3D movies are becoming what color films were to the last. Martin Scorsese went so far as to say "Why couldn’t a film like `Precious’ be in 3-D? It should be.”
